Swiss League
The 26-year-old forward has signed a two-year contract with the Swiss League team, valid until the end of the 2025-26 season.

"Samuel [...] is known for his character and determination every time he is on the ice," Mario Pouliot, head coach of HC Sierre, said. "His offensive and defensive contribution is marked by his intensity and desire to win."
Samuel Asselin played junior hockey in Canada and debuted as a professional player in the 2019-20 season for the Providence Bruins in the AHL. Last season, he recorded six goals and ten assists in 52 regular-season games for the Bridgeport Islanders.
