HC Lugano has agreed to loan the 23-year-old forward to the Swiss League team but has the right to recall him at any given time.

Cole Cormier will suit up for HC Sierre via B-license. The Canadian is in possession of a Swiss player's license and is currently playing his third season with HC Lugano. He has not found his groove yet this season and will thus receive the opportunity to get a bit more ice time.
Cormier has appeared in eleven games for the Bianconeri this season but has yet to put his name on the scoresheet. On average, he has been on the ice for 5:35 minutes per game.
