Kissling will take on his new tasks on April 1, 2026 and will succeed Olivier Schäublin.

As anticipated by Klaus Zaugg ("Watson") last week, Thomas Kissling is EHC Basel's new CEO. He has been working in the private sector up to now and is supposed to help the Swiss League team with his experience.
In particular, he is tasked with advancing the club organizationally and economically and laying the foundation for establishing it among the top teams in the Swiss League - with the goal of a promotion to the National League.
