With EHC Olten, Guillaume Asselin has signed a two-year contract valid until the end of the 2025-26 season. As rumored, the 31-year-old thus leaves the National League after three years with HC Ajoie. In Olten, Asselin will meet again with his former head coach in the Ajoie - Gary Sheehan - and with his former teammate in HC Banska Bystrica, fellow Canadian Éric Faille.
