Swiss League

Only just officially back with the Lions, the forward has pledged his allegiance to the Swiss League club until 2028 - unless something better comes along.

HC Thurgau has announced the signing of Dominik Binias to a two-year extension. His original contract would have lasted until next summer. "There are not many forwards in the Swiss League with the scoring potential of Dominik Binias", team manager Patrick Brändli states. "Extending his contract was therefore a priority for us, and we are proud to have him at HCT until 2028."

The new extension includes a limited out-clause that would allow the 23-year-old to leave for the National League or another European top league.

Despite being a member of HC Fribourg-Gottéron, Binias has been playing for Thurgau on and off since 2021. Last February, he officially signed with them for the current season. In seven games thus far, he has recorded three goals and three assists.
