EHC Olten extends contract of Jayce Hawryluk, signs two defenders

Jayce Hawryluk will thus stay with EHC Olten until the end of the 2027-28 season. The way he sees the game, the quality of his passes, and his intense playing style are particularily mentioned in the press release.

The 30-year-old forward joined Olten shortly after the start of the season and has recorded 47 points (13 goals) in 36 games.

EHC Winterthur's defenseman Nicolò Ugazzi will join EHC Olten next season. The 24-year-old is described as a reliable and strong defender with good playing skills. Ugazzi has played 36 games for Winterthur so far this season, scoring twelve points (four assists). 

Jonas Schwab is also set to join the Swiss League team next season. The 22-year-old defenseman is a product of the SCL Tigers' organization and is currently under contract with Hockey Huttwil. He has already played one game for Olten this season.

In other news, Thomas Roost, who was relieved of his duties as a team manager of EHC Olten, has also stepped down from his position as a member of the board of directors. The Swiss League team hopes to find a new member by the time of the general assembly.
