EHC Olten loans Bonvin to Bellinzona, contract with Schwab terminated

EHC Olten is loaning its forward Benjamin Bonvin to his former club, GDT Bellinzona Snakes, on an A-licence for the coming season. According to a statement from the Swiss League club, Bonvin can be recalled at any time. 

Olten are also planning ahead without defender Jonas Schwab, who was due to join the team from Hockey Huttwil for the coming season. As part of its sporting planning, the club has determined that there will be no playing opportunities for the defender. The interim EHCO sports committee has therefore decided to terminate the contract. 

As the club further states in its press release, forward Mattheo Reinhard, who is currently without a contract, is taking part in EHCO’s summer training. The 21-year-old bolstered the club during last year’s playoffs and can now make a case for a contract.
