EHC Visp extends the contract of head coach Luca Gianinazzi

Luca Gianinazzi has signed a two-year contract with the Swiss League team, valid until the end of the 2027-28 season. The Valaisans were looking for continuity behind the boards, as team manager Daniele Marghitola said: "With the contract extension of our head coach Luca Gianinazzi, we are deliberately focusing on continuity – in line with the values of the club and our sporting direction towards medium and long-term development."

Gianinazzi is also looking forward to their next steps together: "I am very happy and proud to be able to continue my adventure in Valais. Together with the team and the entire club, we have set a clear course for this season. I am convinced that this project still has a lot of potential."

EHC Visp is Gianinazzi's first Swiss League team in his coaching career. Before joining them, he served as head coach of HC Lugano in the National League.
