The 31-year-old forward is at the end of his contract with HCV Martigny and has yet to sign with a new team.
According to the Walliser Boten, first negotiations took place between Léonardo Fuhrer and EHC Visp. However, other teams, namely HC Sierre, have also shown interest in the forward who recorded the most goals and the second-most points this past regular season.
Fuhrer just finished his first season with HCV Martigny. In 45 regular-season games, he recorded 33 goals and 25 assists.
