swisshockeynews.ch

The 2023-24 season of EHC Visp was marked by the economic difficulties of the Swiss League and a complicated qualification phase, which resulted in a relatively stable loss of CHF 130'000.- on a turnover of CHF 5.8 million. The club is trying to generate new sources of income through events in the Lonza Arena such as the Ball Hockey World Championship or two Champions Hockey League games of Genève-Servette HC.

In addition to the deficit, the club also announced the departures of the members of their Board of Directors: Berno Stoffel and Gilles Florey have decided to step down for personal and professional reasons respectively. The club is currently in talks with potential successors and is aiming for the end of the year to complete the board.
