Frédéric Rothen is the new head coach of EHC Winterthur

Frédéric Rothen, 47, has been a member of EHC Winterthur's coaching staff since 2022 when he left HC Ajoie's organization. He will take over from team manager Christian Weber, who has been acting as interim head coach since the departure of Teppo Kivelä at the end of November.

In addition to the promotion of Rothen, EHC Winterthur has announced the extension of their captain, Anthony Staiger. The 30-year-old forward will stay in Winterthur for at least two more championships. Next year, Staiger will thus play his twelfth season with the Eulachstädter.
