Fribourg's Julien Rod again joins Sierre on a B-licence

HC Sierre will be able to count on the services of Julien Rod again for the coming season. The youngster, under contract with HC Fribourg-Gottéron, will be suiting up for the Swiss League squad on a B-licence, just as he did during 2023-24.

"We are delighted to be able to extend our agreement with Sierre regarding Julien Rod", Fribourg's team manager Gerd Zenhäusern notes. "It is important for him to get as much playing time as possible so that he can continue to develop. We are convinced that this is the right path."

In 40 games with Sierre last season, the forward recorded one goal and two assists.
