Éric Faille has already proven his worth in the Swiss League, Switzerland's second-highest league. In 2021-22, he was the league's top scorer with 94 points (29 goals) in 63 games and helped EHC Kloten getting promoted to the National League.

Last season, his first in the National League, the Canadian forward has appeared in 55 games, in which he recorded 24 points (ten goals).

With Faille, EHC Olten has signed their first import-player for the upcoming season. Team manager Marc Grieder is now looking for a second import. He is also looking at possible Swiss reinforcements.
