From Olten - Rihards Melnalksnis joins EHC Chur

After stops in Langenthal, Kloten, Olten, and with the GCK Lions, Rihards Melnalksnis has found his next employer in the Swiss League. The 26-year-old forward, whose expiring contract with EHC Olten was not extended, will stay with EHC Chur until the end of the 2026-27 season.

As the press release reads, EHC Chur is convinced that "Rihards, with his experience, commitment, and fighting spirit, is an excellent fit for our playing philosophy. He brings power and creativity to our team's offense".
