Gaëtan Jobin might join another team for the playoffs

"Discussions are underway for me to join another club, Sierre perhaps, for the playoffs. I really want to finish this season well," Gaëtan Jobin tells "La Liberté". HC Sierre is currently in eighth place and has secured the last playoff spot.

As for next season, Jobin already knows that his future will not lie in Fribourg: "My agent let me know [...]. I felt it from the beginning of the season and have come to terms with it, so it's not a shock. I can understand this decision. The points were missing when I had the opportunity to play,"

Jobin is a product of HC Fribourg-Gottéron. He played most of his junior hockey career for the Dragons and returned to the organization after a year in the QMJHL. In 20 games for EHC Winterthur this season, he recorded four goals and four assists.
