HC La Chaux-de-Fonds won a hard-fought game against HC Sierre. The two teams were tied 2-2 going into the third period. In the 55th minute, Gilian Kohler put HCC ahead 3-2, only for Sierre to answer with two goals in 82 seconds, making it 3-4 Sierre.

However, HCC did not give up and tied the game with a bit less than two minutes on the clock. The teams ended the third period tied 4-4 and headed to overtime. While Sierre had the better chances at the start of overtime, HC La Chaux-de-Fonds scored in the 67th minute, securing the trophy for the second consecutive year.
