Swiss League
The Swiss League team and the Sierre-Valais Sport SA, which is presided over by Chris McSorley, have signed a formal agreement.
As per the team's statement, "the Sierre-Valais Sport SA will gradually become a shareholder of HC Sierre, as the construction of the arena progresses. [...] This evolving participation will enable Sierre-Valais Sport SA to eventually become the majority shareholder of HC Sierre."
The end goal of the collaborators is HC Sierre's promotion to the National League by 2027 - the year the new arena is supposed to open its doors.
