Emils Veckaktins has agreed to a two-year contract with HC Sierre, valid until the end of the 2027-28 season. He suited up for HC Sierre via B-license in the postseason and won the championship title with the Swiss League team.
Veckaktins is a product of HC Lugano's organization and joined HC Ajoie in 2024. He played his first professional game for the Ajooulots and appeared in 87 National League games (five points). In HC Sierre's playoff run, he recorded one goal and two assists in 21 games.
