HC Sierre signs Maxime Montandon to a two-year extension

Maxime Montandon joined HC Sierre in 2018, at a time when the club was playing in the MySports League. A year later, HC Sierre was promoted in the Swiss League, and Maxime Montandon was chosen as their new captain. Montandon is thus "a perfect fit for the club's heritage vision", Sierre's press release reads.

This season, Montandon appeared in 57 games for HC Sierre, scoring 14 goals and collecting 24 assists making him the most prolific defenseman of the team and the second in the Swiss League, trailing only EHC Olten's Joël Scheidegger (49 points).
