HC Sierre's Cjunskis suspended, team adds Matthew Kellenberger to roster

Roberts Cjunskis has been issued a two-game suspension for cross-checking the GDT Bellinzona Snakes' Benjamin Bonvin on October 8. As he has already sat out a game, he will be out of HC Sierre's lineup for another game. 

In other news, the Swiss League team has acquired the B-license of Matthew Kellenberger. The 25-year-old defenseman will be available to Sierre for the remainder of the season. He can, however, be recalled by EHC Kkloten at any given time. The defender split the season between HC Thurgau and EHC Kloten last season and has yet to play his first game of the season.
