The goaltending coach remains part of HC Thurgau's coaching staff. He has been responsible for the goalies of HCT's organisation since 2024.

Goaltenders such as Loic Galley from HC Fribourg-Gottéron and Mathieu Croce, who is currently on loan to EHC Kloten, have been coached by Axel Feichter in the past two years.
“His work on the ice and his coaching philosophy are a perfect fit for our team culture. We are convinced that together we will make further progress," says team manager Patrick Brändli.
