Swiss League

The Lions have signed Hunter Garlent ((CAN)) and Sebastian Bengtsson ((SWE)), as well as defenders Ramon Schnetzer and Alessandro Villa.

Hunter Garlent, 28, joins HC Thurgau from the Lausitzer Füchse in the DEL2. Last season, he was elected as the best forward and the MVP of Germany's second-highest league. In 59 games, he recorded 71 points (31 goals) for the Füchse. With HCT, he has signed a one-year deal.

Sebastian Bengtsson, for his part, is well-known in the Swiss League. The Swedish forward suited up for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds this past season and put up 47 points (18 goals) in 32 games.

In defense, HC Thurgau adds Austrian Ramon Schnetzer from the Black Wings Linz for the upcoming season. The 26-year-old is in possession of a Swiss license. Also, Alessandro Villa will suit up for Thurgau next season. He joins them on loan from HC Lugano.
