"We are very positive about them and want to keep them," Brändli tells the "Thurgauer Zeitung". Both Swedes have received an offer from HC Thurgau and still have time to respond. If they decide to leave, Brändli is not too worried about finding replacements: "The market for import players is big enough."
As for the Swiss players, Brändli was not willing to disclose anything. The "Thurgauer Zeitung" speculates, however, that Cédric Hächler will stay and supposedly already has a contract for the upcoming season. The future of Yves Stoffel (EHC Chur is also interested in him) and Lionel Marchand also have yet to be determined.
There are also rumors that HC Thurgau has acquired EHC Winterthur's Robin Lekic, EV Zug's U20 player Kevin Haas, and the GCK Lions' Fabio Murer for the upcoming season. It remains to be seen whether those rumblings will be confirmed.
