HC La Chaux-de-Fonds has agreed to a three-year contract with goaltending coach Santeri Matikanen. Moreover, they have signed Santo Simmchen.
HC La Chaux-de-Fonds
Santeri Matikainen has been with HCC since 2020 and will stay with the team until 2028. He will have a new talent to develop, as Santo Simmchen joins the Swiss League team from EV Zug's U20 team.
The 19-year-old goaltender played junior hockey for HC Davos and EV Zug. This season, he made his Swiss League debut for EHC Chur and his National League debut for the Bulls. HC La Chaux-de-Fonds has signed him to a one-year contract.
