The 20-year-old forward would have been at the end of his deal with the Swiss League team this spring.
According to information obtained by Elite Prospects, HC Thurgau has extended the contract of Jan Meier for another season. He would thus stay with the Swiss League team until the end of the 2023-24 season.
Jan Meier appeared in 31 games for HC Thurgau's U20 team, eleven for HC Thurgau, and six in the MyHockey League for EHC Frauenfeld this past season.
