The 25-year-old defenseman is at the end of his contract with the Swiss League team.
HC La Chaux-de-Fonds bid farewell to Karim Del Ponte on their social media accounts, wishing him all the best for the future. It will thus remain to be seen, where Del Ponte will play next season.
This season, the defenseman recorded one goal and eight assists in 38 games for HCC. He also suited up in four postseason games for them.
