Lars Frei extends his contract with EHC Chur

"He is an important pillar of the team and brings a lot of experience to the team, which is extremely important. His goal-scoring ability is a key factor in our success this season," Björn Gerhard, EHC Chur's Head of Sports, said.

EHC Chur will, however, have to make do without Lars Frei for the near future. He sustained a lower-body injury at the end of last year and is expected to be out of the lineup for about six weeks. 

Frei has appeared in 33 games for EHC Chur this season, recording ten goals and 16 assists. He is currently in his fourth season with the Swiss League team.
