The 32-year-old will become head of sports and sponsoring as well as hold the position of team manager.

SC Langenthal

His first full season in men's hockey was made with SC Langenthal, his last one will be with the same club. After spending his junior time with HC Davos, Marc Kämpf joined Langenthal in 2010. Seven years later, he left for SC Bern, only to return again in 2020. Now, at 32, the forward has decided to hang up his skates at the end of the current season.

Kämpf will take over as head of sports and sponsoring of SC Langenthal. He will also serve as the future MyHockey Leauge-team's team manager. To properly set up for the coming season, he is already carrying out his off-ice duties as of right now. Together with Christoph Brügger (operations, ticketing as well as marketing and communication), he will be part of the management.

There are going to be some more changes within Langenthal's organization. Talks for positions on the administrative board are being held. Stefan Tschannen will take over as head of development.
