The 38-year-old defenseman is a familiar face in Sierre as he played for the Swiss League team last season.
HC Sierre
Marco Mauerer will be able to showcase his skills in August. He has signed a tryout contract and will be part of HC Sierre's preseason process. He will thus have the opportunity to earn another contract with the team.
In 50 games last season, he recorded ten goals and 13 assists. He added one goal and one assist in 15 postseason games to his tally.
