The forward is heading down the Rhône and will suit up for the newly promoted Swiss League team next season.
After three years with EHC Visp, Melvin Merola will continue his career with another club from the Valais. As HCV Martigny announces, they have signed the forward to a contract for the coming season.
It will be the second stint in Martigny for the 30-year-old, he already was part of Martigny Red Ice for the 2016-17 season.
In his last year with Visp, Merola suited up 33 times, recording four goals and six assists.
