The 31-year-old forward has agreed to a three-year deal with the Mice. He will thus stay in Olten until the end of the 2027-28 season.

"Obrist is a key player because, thanks to his speed, he can severely limit the impact of opposing key players, which he has proven time and again even against top stars at the highest level,” Thomas Roost, team manager of EHC Olten, explains.
Patrick Obrist is currently in his first season with EHC Olten. This season, he recorded five goals and nine assists in 31 games for the Mice.
