HC La Chaux-de-Fonds wins the regular season and will face EHC Winterthur in the playoffs.
EHC Visp, HCV Martigny, and EHC Winterthur all had 58 points before tonight's game. As Martigny lost tonight and Visp and Winterthur won their respective games, the Valaisans missed the playoffs by two points.
As for the rest of the playoff matchups, EHC Basel will play against EHC Visp, EHC Olten will face HC Thurgau, and the GCK Lions will battle HC Sierre. The quarterfinal round will start on February 13.
