Martigny will be able to count on the 27-year-old Latvian, who is in possession of a Swiss players' license, effective immediately.
Rihards Puide is currently under contract with the Bellinzona Rockets, having joined them from EHC Olten last summer. The forward has, however, already suited up for HCV Martigny in the past, albeit on loan.
In 41 games for the Rockets this season, the forward has recorded two goals and three assists.
