The 20-year-old defenseman was originally supposed to play for EHC Arosa this season.
According to the MyHockey League team, Romain Montandon will, however, suit up for the Bellinzon Rockets next season. The statement of the club emphasizes that Montandon was transparent with them regarding the interest of the Swiss League team.
Montando captained HC Lugano's U20 team last season, recording three goals and eleven assists in 43 games. He also appeared in two games of the HCB Ticino Rockets.
