Cédric Hächler will join HC Thurgau on a one-year deal, as the club announced yesterday. The last two seasons, the defenseman was part of fellow Swiss League team EHC Olten. Before that, the 30-year-old spent the majority of his career with various National League teams.
Fellow defenseman Valentin Senn, who has been part of Thurgau's organization for a while, is sticking around for another year. Depending on the circumstances, the 20-year-old might suit up for the Lions' partner team EHC Frauenfeld as well.
