Timothy Kast to leave HC Sierre after one season

From their website, HC Sierre has bid farewell to Timothy Kast, thanking him for his role in the successful past season. Additionally, HC Sierre also thanked three other players, who will not return to the roster after spending the 2025-26 season with them on loan from HC Lugano: Stéphane Patry (already signed to EHC Visp for the upcoming championship), Roberts Cjunskis, and Jakob Lee.

Despite a two-year break from professional hockey, Kast did not lose his touch and put up solid numbers, collecting 27 points in 36 regular-season games and recording ten points in 15 playoff games, helping Sierre win the title.
