Without a club since the end of the past season, the Austrian forward has found a new home.
This past spring, after nine consecutive seasons in Kloten, Patrick Obrist did not extend with EHC Kloten and thus became a free agent. A few weeks after the start of the new season, the 31-year-old has finally found his new employer, EHC Olten. With them, he practiced for a week and then signed a contract for the rest of the season.
Last season, Obrist scored five goals and collected four assists in 49 games with EHC Kloten.
