Frölunda HC to play at the next Spengler Cup

It will be Frölunda's second time at the traditional tournament. The current SHL-leader's first participation in 2023 ended in the semifinal, where they were eliminated by the eventual champion, HC Davos.

With Frölunda, the SCL Tigers, and host Davos, three of the six participants of the 98th Spengler Cup have been confirmed.
