HCAP's Michal Čajkovský and HC Ajoie's Niklas Friman loaned to HCFG for Spengler Cup

The 33-year-old and the 32-year-old defensemen will join HC Fribourg-Gottéron for the duration of the traditional end-of-the-year tournament.

Michal Čajkovský is in his first season in Switzerland, but it will not be his first Spengler Cup participation. He already played in the tournament in the 2016-17 season, then as a member of Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg. The defenseman has appeared in four games for HC Ambrì-Piotta this season.

Niklas Friman, too, is in his first season in the National League and also has one Spengler Cup participation under his belt. He suited up for HPK in the 2017-18 season. In 19 games for HC Ajoie, he has recorded one goal.
