This year's Spengler Cup will see HC Fribourg-Gottéron going up against Dynamo Pardubice in the first game of the tournament on December 26. It is followed by the next iteration of a longstanding classic, HC Davos versus Team Canada.
The remaining two teams will make their first appearances the next day, with Kärpät Oulu facing the loser of Fribourg-Pardubice in the afternoon and the Straubing Tigers playing versus whichever team was defeated in the evening game.
The rest of the tournament proceeds as usual, eventually concluding with the final on December 31.
