The first round of the 2024-25 National Cup has been drawn

The Women's National Cup will see 14 clubs from SWHL-D and eight each from SWHL-C, SWHL-B, and the PostFinance Women's League (PFWL). In the first round of the Cup, which will take place from October 5 to October 20, the pairings were drawn between the 14 SWHL-D teams:

• HC Monthey-Chablais Féminin - CP Fleurier
• Argovia Stars - SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers
• Hockey Ladies Oberwallis - HC Luzern
• Neuchâtel Hockey Academy 1999 - EHC Wetzikon
• CP Meyrin - EHC Zuchwil Regio
• Lausanne HC Féminin II - EHC Rot-Blau-Bern-Bümpliz
• HC La Chaux-de-Fonds Féminin - HC Ajoie Ladies

The winners of the first round will face the eight SWHL-C teams in the second round (October 26 to November 10), with one "lucky loser" joining them for the draw. In the third round (November 16 to December 1), the SWHL-B will join the action, with the PFWL teams then taking part in the round of 16 (December 7 to December 22). The quarterfinals will take place between January 4 and January 19. The winners will qualify for the Final 4 weekend on January 25/26.

As for the Men's National Cup, all 32 teams (all ten teams in the Swiss League, six representatives each from Eastern, Central, and Western Switzerland, and four "lucky losers" from the last regional preliminary rounds) will immediately be in action on September 29. The other rounds will take place on the following days: Round of 16 on October 16, quarter-finals on November 13, semi-finals on December 27 or January 9, and the final on February 2.
