The former CEO of the Jungfraubahnen has been elected as the new president of the SIHF's Board of Directors.

“I am delighted about the trust placed in me and this exciting challenge. I am passionate about working with all partners to advance the development of Swiss ice hockey and bring the ice hockey community even closer together," Kessler said upon his successful campaign for president. 

Moreover, Marc-Anthony Anner will stay on as vice president until the end of his term in office. The general assembly also re-elected Gregor Müller as a member of the audit and compensation committee (ACC).

In other news, the assembly nominated Peter Zahner as a potential member of the IIHF Council. Currently, Switzerland already has a member on the council: Raeto Raffainer. He has been part of it since 2021.

As for the finances, the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation closes the 2024-25 season with a profit of CHF 28,471. The revenue was CHF 33.081 million.
