The former CEO of the Jungfraubahnen is supposed to be elected on September 8 during the SIHF's general assembly.

Several candidates were considered, but Urs Kessler convinced the evaluation committee with his clear profile and proven management experience. The delegates of the National League and the Swiss League clubs followed the recommendation of the evaluation committee unanimously.
Urs Kessler had been working for the Jungfraubahnen for 38 years, 17 of which he had served as their CEO. He has also been a member of several boards of Directors.
