Lausanne HC has recently acquired Basile Sansonnes from the organization of HC Fribourg-Gottéron but the fans of the Lions will have to wait before seeing him in an official game. The young defender will try his luck in the QMJHL, one of the three main Canadian junior leagues. This summer he was chosen 31st overall by L'Oceanic de Rimouski with their first pick of the CHL import draft.
