Canadian Hockey League

After being released by the QMJHL's Shawinigan Cataractes, Braillard will continue playing in the Canadian Hockey League but in the WHL.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes chose Léo Braillard as their second import on the roster, joining Swedish forward Elias Knoester. The 18-year-old forward will thus move from the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League to the Western Hockey League. The Hurricanes are currently in fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
