The Florida Panthers reduced their training camp roster to 35 players. The 27-year-old goaltender was also among the cuts.
Ludovic Waeber signed a one-year, entry-level contract with the Panthers back in June. He is now expected to report to their AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.
Last season, the goaltender appeared in 19 regular-season games for the ZSC Lions, posting a .914 save percentage.
