As expected, no Swiss player was drafted in the first round of the 2025 NHL Entry Draft last night. Today, during the second to seventh round, some Swiss players did get selected, though.

Eljiah Neuenschwander was selected 104th overall by the Anaheim Ducks. He recently signed his first professional contract with HC Fribourg-Gottéron. The goaltender is set to play for EHC Chur this season to get in some more ice time. 

Ludvig Johnson jas been drafted in the sixth round of the NHL Entry Draft with the 174th overall pick by the Utah Mammoth. The 18-year-old defenseman is a product of EV Zug's organization but has agreed to terms with HC Fribourg-Gottéron for the 2025-26 season.
