New coach for Roman Josi - Nashville Predators fire John Hynes

Both John Hynes and Dan Lambert had one year left on their contract with the Predators, but now have to find new jobs anyway. "After our year-end meetings and some additional evaluation, it was time to change the voice and time to go in a different direction," GM Barry Trotz explains.

Hynes has been the Nashville Predators' head coach for four seasons. He led them to the playoffs three times, but never managed to lead them to the second round. According to reports, former Predators forward Andrew Brunette is going to take over as their new head coach.
