The Swiss-American defenseman was assigned to his junior team, the OHL's Windsor Spitfires.
The first roster cut spelled the end of Rodwin Dionicio's time at the Anaheim Ducks's training camp. For the 5th-round pick in the 2023 Entry Draft, it was the first NHL experience, albeit only during the preseason.
Instead of enjoying Californian beaches, the 19-year-old is now headed back to the Canadian shore of Detroit River to prepare for his second season with the Spitfires.
