According to Elliotte Friedman ("Sportsnet"), the Anaheim Ducks can now officially terminate the contract of the 21-year-old defenseman.

Rodwin Dionicio was placed on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract last night. The defenseman, who was drafted by the Ducks in 2023, would have had two years left on his entry-level deal with the Ducks.
Dionicio recorded five goals and four assists in 24 regular-season games for the San Diego Gulls last season. He joined EHC Biel at the end of January for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
